藻類学会について
藻類学会はまだおわっていないが、いってよかったです。意外と口頭発表は受けたし、仲間と楽しくのめたし。また、東北にいる友達たちは無事であったことの確認もできたし。今日はポスター発表したら、終わりだ。
来年の藻類学会は６０周年記念のため、札幌で開催されます。そして、いつもの3月ではなく、来年は7月の13～15日です。ASLOの大会（２０１２滋賀県）の直後ですね。来年の7月は忙しそうです。ちなみに、２０１３年は甲府らしい。
あ、そして今年の第14回日本藻類学会論文賞は二つありました。一つは微細藻類の研究で、二つめは"Species richness of marine macrophytes is correlated to a wave exposure gradient" by Gregory N. Nishihara & Ryuta Teradaです。
2011/04/06ついか：大学HPにのりました！
Although the Phycological Meeting is not yet finished, I am glad I went. My talk appeared to be received well and I got to meet most of my friends and had a good time. Not to mention, I was able to confirm the safety of a number of colleagues from the Tohoku Region (where the earthquake and tsunami hit). After I present my poster, my work is done.
Next year, the meeting will be held in Sapporo, and it will be the 60th anniversary of the meeting. Unlike the traditional March meeting, this time it will be held in July 13 - 15. Next year's ASLO meeting will be held near Lake Biwa just before that, so next July will be a very busy month. By the way, the 2013 Phycology Meeting will be in Kofu.
Oh, by the way, there were 2 Best Paper Awards presented this year, one for a study on microalgae and the other one by Nishihara and Terada "Species richness of marine macrophytes is correlated to a wave exposure gradient".
