The vice president of the National Taiwan Ocean University, and a number of faculty, researchers, and students came to Nagasaki to help celebrate the opening of our Office of International Exchange between our two institutions. I was the moderator (master of ceremonies?) of the ceremony, which involved speeches by either side, as well as unveiling a plaque and what-not. Personally, I think I did a terrible job at moderating. English or Japanese, I will need to look-up how to do this, since I have a feeling that I will be doing more of this in the future...
