石垣島はまだよかった。とくに、ここウミショウブ群落をやっとみつけた。
In comparison to the fieldwork at Iriomote, Ishigaki went well. At the least we found a large and healthy Enhalus acoroides meadow!
ここでも、機材をつけて溶存酸素や光量子をはかった。
Here, we set up our equipment and went to work, collecting dissolved oxygen and light measurements.
もちろんPAMでの測定もした（光合成化学反応系IIの活性を測っています）。

We also saw a sea snake,
K村くんはハリセンボンまでつかまえたが、
and Mr. K caught himeself a big porcupine fish.
８０万もするCTD（あのオレンジいろ物体）をおとして、10分かけて必死にさがした。K堀君のおかげで、みつかった。ありがとう！
However, he also dropped our $8000 mini-CTD (the orange thing in the photo below), and it took 10 minutes of frantic searching before Mr. K-hori found it. Good Job!
