Applications->Accessories->Passwords and Encryption Keys->Passwords
Under the Passw0rds:login subtab find "Network secret for XXX/YYY/psk, where XXX is the router you are trying to connect to and YYY is a description of the wireless connection.
Open up the properties and click the Password subtab.

Recently, there were some problems with my wireless setup. I finally got around to setting up WPA-PSK for the Buffalo wireless router. I set it up with a preliminary password then setup up my Panasonic CF-W7 (Ubuntu 9.04). Using the NetworkManager applet (nm-applet) and wpa supplicant, I entered the WPA password, and all's well.
After some testing, I changed the password on the router then went about changing the password in with the nm-applet. This is where the problems began. The nm-applet would always revert to the previous password.
Resolution:
goto Applications->Accessories->Passwords and Encryption Keys->Passwords
Under the Passw0rds:login subtab find "Network secret for XXX/YYY/psk, where XXX is the router you are trying to connect to and YYY is a description of the wireless connection.
Open up the properties and click the Password subtab.
Enter the desired password in the field.
Close the windows, and everything should work (It did for me).
